Most recently, I was a Multimedia Journalist and Digital Producer at FOX 13 in Salt Lake City, leading vertical video strategy, digital campaigns, and helping grow the station’s 1M+ social following. Before that, I reported for The Arizona Republic and USA Today on southwest culture and accessibility of the outdoors. With VICE News Asia in the Philippines, I covered cultural and pandemic stories for global audiences. I’ve also partnered with nonprofits like the Filipino Young Leaders Program to create digital campaigns countering misinformation and disinformation. These experiences — across newsrooms, nonprofits, and global media — have given me the experience and expertise to reach people on a wide range of platforms. I grew up between the Philippines and the U.S., which gave me the chance to travel most of my life and bring a global perspective into my work. I speak Spanish and Tagalog, and I love creating short-form social videos that highlight people, places and communities in ways that truly connect with audiences.I’ve reported and created content from the deserts of the American Southwest to cities across Asia, always seeking stories off the beaten path.Most recently, I was a digital journalist at FOX 13 Utah, and now I’m focusing on freelance consulting and content creation for businesses and individuals — helping with social strategy, storytelling and creative campaigns.
